Professor Quentin Skinner, Regius Professor of Modern History at the University of Cambridge, is considered as one of the leading thinkers in the humanities and social sciences today.
Renowned for his distinctive contributions to contemporary political history and philosophy, and regarded as one of the founding members of the influential 'Cambridge School' of the study of the history of political thought, he is widely published on a range of philosophical, political and historical subjects.
