The introduction of Work Choices, and later the Fairness Test have stimulated intense and renewed interest in the question of how best to regulate the Australian labour market.
Public, media and political attention has also been focused in recent months by the release of the Australian Labor Party’s industrial relations policy, Forward with Fairness.
The Centre for Employment and Labour Relations Law is pleased to host Ms Julia Gillard, MP, to give this public address.
Julia Gillard is the Federal Member for Lalor, the Deputy Labor Leader and the Shadow Minister for Employment & Industrial Relations and Social Inclusion.
