A Year is a Long Time in Baillieu-land:
This will be a keynote Address by Victorian Opposition Leader Daniel Andrews
What a difference an election can make. Just one year after taking power the Baillieu Coalition Government has made some major changes to Victoria. Cutting funding to health and education, winding back equal opportunity laws passed by Victorian Labor, abandoning efforts to protect the environment and tackle climate change and breaking its commitment to be open and transparent. With a continuing crisis in employment Baillieu has no jobs plan and either doesn't care or understand the impact of job losses.
Victoria needs a strong Opposition now and a credible alternative for the 2014 election.
Come and hear from State Opposition Leader Daniel Andrews. Donít miss this opportunity to put your questions to the man who is leading the effort to bring progressive politics back into power in Victoria.
The forum includes a special introduction from Mick Power, Victorian Co-Convenor of the Labor Environment Action Network (LEAN).
